HOPEFUL FOR 2024 - A Year of Growth

A Letter from the Editor 🌸🌸🌸

My Dearest Readers,

Warm New Year’s greetings! As we face this year, it is always healthy for us to look back, review, and be thankful for all things that happened in 2023. Whew. Last year was indeed a full one — and I’m sure each one of us had our share of highs and lows, mountain peaks and valleys, defeats and victories… Yes, life is like that… There are seasons of joy.. Then, there are seasons of sorrow.. It’s never perfect. But what I’m thankful for is that we have a perfect God who makes everything beautiful in His time. Yes, TIME 🙏🏽

“He has made everything beautiful in its time” 

~ Ecclesiastes 3:11

As I write this welcoming entry for our blog, I’m listening and appreciating this beautiful song, “Leaves” by our amazing local group, Ben & Ben. If you’re not familiar with this piece, the chorus goes this way:

LEAVES 🌱 

Leaves will soon grow from the bareness of trees

And all will be alright in time

From waves overgrown come the calmest of seas

And all will be alright in time

Wounds of the past will eventually heal

And all will be alright in time

'Cause all of this comes with a love that is real

I said, "All will be alright in time" 

We have 366 days ahead of us and the New Year can bring pressure of making many personal resolutions.. But, perhaps, it can bring comfort to make time our friend — and take it one day at a time. Let’s think that we always have a daily opportunity to “make it right” 👍🏻

Whatever battles you are facing (or will face) this year, hang in there. And if you lose your grip, rest assured, God will never let you go. He is our faithful God who promised to never leave us nor forsake us 🙏🏽

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified… for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you” 

~ Deuteronomy 31:6

I pray that you will have a beautiful and hopeful 2024. Let’s journey through this year together as our blog continues to do what we love doing for you — Bringing Life and Giving Joy 😍
