COOL COFFEE

WHY I LIKE U Series
By Ari Cabello 🌸🌸🌸

The origins of coffee date back to Yemen in the mid-15th century when coffee seeds were first roasted and brewed similarly as today. The Temenis procured the coffee beans from the Ethiopian highlands in coastal Somalia and started cultivating them. The two most common coffee bean types are C. Arabica and C. Robusta

HEALTH BENEFITS
Coffee contains caffeine, a stimulant that may fight fatigue and increase energy levels. Some research says that drinking coffee may lower the risks of type 2 diabetes over the long term. Moreover, coffee may support brain health and prevent cognitive decline – several studies show that moderate coffee consumption may lower the risk of Dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s. Most importantly, coffee is rich in antioxidants which protect against cellular damage πŸ‘πŸΌ

Coffee may also prevent liver conditions like chronic liver disease, liver scarring, and liver cancer. It may also lower the risks of heart disease, stroke, and heart failure. Coffee could also manage weight loss and is linked to decreasing body fat. It may improve athletic performance, increasing energy and endurance when consumed before exercising πŸ’ͺ🏽

DAILY RELEVANCE
Nowadays, people are used to drinking coffee day in and day out. I think it’s because coffee helps us focus on daily tasks. It has a positive impact on people – it can lighten up our moods, and avoid the fogginess and sleepiness from the brain. It can also improve physical performance – usually, people drink coffee before working out at the gym. Lastly, people seem to be in a happier mood whenever they drink coffee first thing in the morning or middle of the day ☀️

FAMOUS BRANDS
Just like many people, I’m a proud COFFEE LOVER. And I’ve chosen to feature here a few of the top brands that I like 😍

STARBUCKS has the famous Vanilla Latte – they say it is one of their best drinks especially if you want to keep your health goals in check. What I like about Starbucks' coffee is that it has more whipped cream and they have tried to lessen the strong taste of their coffee, but sometimes there are still bits of it. It is known worldwide that Starbucks has made a strong name for itself through the years. And people keep coming back for more – just like me ☕️

TIM HORTON'S has the Iced Cappucino, which is extremely popular in every coffee shop. But only a few shops have the variant which Tim Hortons specializes in. Tim Hortons has a style of Iced Cappuccino which I love drinking because it has the perfect balance of strong and sweet tastes. It also has a hint of chocolate flavor in the coffee which makes it less strong or bitter. Tim Horton's coffee is always a personal favorite ☕️

UCC CLOCKWORK has its way of making its own various concoctions of coffee since they are part of the third-wave coffee chain. They have their own mix named “Judy On The Rocks,” which is their best-selling coffee – it has charcoal roasted coffee with ‘on the rocks’ cream with rimmed salted honey. UCC Clockwork can be very straightforward in making their own coffee to perfection. It is worth trying them out. Whether you like it hot or iced, black or with milk and sugar, UCC Coffee has a flavor and style that is sure to satisfy ☕️

COFFEE FOR YOU
Needless to say, a myriad of coffee brands and cafes have sprung up at the advent of the coffee boom. Whichever coffee you prefer, I’m glad you’ve found one that satisfies your liking. With all the health and lifestyle benefits coffee can give, I hope we can all make the most out of all these and enjoy life better.. Let’s drink coffee to that, shall we? 🀎
